LAW 1 PLAYING RULES
Offside
If the ball is in a teams attacking third, all attacking players must be behind the ball
carrier. There is no offside for the defensive thirds
Handling the Ball
No player shall use their hands in the centre third.
Passing
All passes in the outer thirds must go behind the passer. Passes in the middle third, or
when playing the ball with the feet, may go in any direction.
Goal Scoring
Goals are counted as valid if they are kicked into the goal from either of the
defensive thirds and are not touched en route. Goals are worth two (2) points.
Try Scoring
Tries are counted as valid if an attacking player is first to ground the ball cleanly in
the opponent’s in-goal area. Tries are worth one (1) point. |
CHAMPIONSHIPS
TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
The Television Championship is currently vacant.
This championship will be defended under the Laws of Rockerball (link above) except for the
folowing conditions;
1. Each team shall have four players - one replacement.
2. The match will last two periods of seven and a half minutes.
3. The match shall be filmed and at the host broadcaster no later than 48 hours after the match.
INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP
The Internet Championship is currently vacant.
This championship will be defended under the Laws of Rockerball (link above) except for the
folowing conditions;
1. Each team shall have two players - no replacements.
2. The match will end when one team reaches five points.
3. The match shall be filmed and uploaded to the internet no later than 48 hours after the match. |

WOLFPACK
Australian Rockerball will be marketing and digitally distributing the
three "Wolfpack" films, as well as the accompianing shorts, written and produced by Patrick Gillett
The series first film, O‘Hare, will premiere in October.
